● Standby power generators have battery chargers fitted to trickle charge the battery
● Mains back-up generators have water jacket heaters, which heat the coolant, fitted to aid cold start
● Typically connected to an automatic transfer switch (ATS) and uninterruptible power supply (UPS)
● Designed for fixed installation, so longevity is key, which is achieved through using quality components to increase life cycle
● Designed to run on Diesel fuel, HFO fuel or in some cases bio diesel
